Job Summary
Join the Cloud Centre of Excellence at ARHS Group, part of Accenture, as an AWS Cloud Engineer. You will be part of the Managed Services team, supporting large-scale cloud environments, primarily on AWS. Responsibilities include operating, monitoring, and improving cloud workloads, handling customer service requests, incident resolution, and contributing to automation, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives. This role involves a 24/7 on-call rotation and requires in-person collaboration.
Must Have
- Proven experience in cloud operations or DevOps roles.
- Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, ELB, etc.) and Linux environments.
- Experience or strong interest in automation and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
- Good understanding of cloud best practices and DevOps principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot networking topics (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP).
- Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages.
- Service-oriented mindset with strong customer focus.
- Team spirit combined with proactive problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
Good to Have
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
- Experience with other public cloud platforms beyond AWS.

Join the Cloud Centre of Excellence at ARHS Group, part of Accenture, and become part of our Managed Services team supporting large-scale cloud environments across multiple public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle, and more).
In this role, you will focus on operating, monitoring, and improving cloud workloads while contributing to automation, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives.
THE WORK:
- Operate and monitor public cloud environments, primarily on AWS.
- Handle customer service requests, incident resolution, and SLA-based support activities.
- Lead incident response and contribute to root-cause analysis and post-incident reports.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) game days and readiness testing.
- Analyze operational processes and propose improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to sustainability and cost optimization efforts.
- Automate infrastructure and maintenance tasks using Infrastructure as Code and scripting tools.
- Take part in a 24/7 on-call rotation as part of the Managed Services team.
