The AWS Infrastructure System Administrator manages and maintains the organization's AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, security, and scalability. This role supports the deployment and operation of cloud-based services, requiring strong technical skills, proactive troubleshooting, and a commitment to high standards in system performance. Key responsibilities include monitoring AWS infrastructure, performing system administration tasks, implementing security measures, and collaborating with development and operations teams to deploy scalable solutions.
Must have:
- Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure
- Perform system administration tasks (configuration, patch management, backups)
- Implement security measures for cloud systems and data
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within AWS environments
- Support automation of infrastructure provisioning and maintenance
- Collaborate with development and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in system administration with AWS
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch) and logging tools (ELK/CloudTrail)

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
- Perform system administration tasks, including configuration, patch management, and backups.
- Implement security measures to protect cloud systems and data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within AWS environments and services.
- Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and deploy scalable solutions.

- Provide support and guidance to other team members on AWS best practices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and processes.
- Stay informed about AWS advancements and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in system administration with a focus on AWS environments.
- Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and IAM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
