Job Description

Version 1, a global technology services company, seeks an Azure Administrator to join its Digital, Data and Cloud team. This role involves providing support across various Azure technologies for multiple clients, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating to resolve technical issues. The administrator will document procedures, operate within ITIL/ISO20000 frameworks, act as an escalation point, and maintain services like Exchange Online, Office365, and Azure Virtual Desktop. The position requires a minimum of 5 years in IT, with at least 2 years in Azure administration, and strong troubleshooting skills.
Must have:
  • Provide support across multiple clients and Azure technologies.
  • Assist in mentoring junior team members on Azure administration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues.
  • Document operational procedures and configuration changes.
  • Operate within ITIL / ISO20000 IT Service Management environment.
  • Act as an escalation point for Azure-related incidents.

Job Description

  • Provide support across multiple clients and technologies within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Assist in mentoring junior team members on Azure administration tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues.
  • Document operational procedures and configuration changes.
  • Operate within a structured ITIL / ISO20000 IT Service Management environment.
  • Act as an escalation point for Azure-related incidents and investigations.
  • Maintain and support services such as Exchange Online, Office365, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in IT, with at least 2 years focused on Azure administration.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining enterprise-grade Azure solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving Azure infrastructure and service issues.
  • Familiarity with the full support lifecycle: incident, problem, and change management.
  • Ability to interpret and resolve moderately complex technical problems.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams and clients.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in managing 3 or more of the following Azure services including:
  • Azure Virtual Machines
  • Azure Active Directory
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure Networking (NSGs, VNets, VPNs)
  • Azure Site Recovery / Backup
  • Azure Kubernetes
  • Azure Firewall
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Basic understanding of disaster recovery and backup solutions in Azure.
  • Familiarity with Citrix environments and Office365 integration.
  • Exposure to infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools.
