Back End Developer

This role is for a Back End Developer to join a Lithuanian-Ukrainian gamedev company expanding its team for a new mobile casual game project. The successful candidate will work on the game’s server-side, contributing to the development and maintenance of game server code.

Must Have

• Developing and maintaining game server code
• Developing tools for QA and game balance
• Analyzing and fixing bugs based on player feedback
• Analyzing and preventing server vulnerabilities

Good to Have

• Strong mathematical knowledge
• Experience interacting with Unity or other game engines
• Experience in client-server architecture development

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining game server code;
• Developing tools for QA and game balance;
• Analyzing and fixing bugs based on player feedback;
• Analyzing and preventing server vulnerabilities.

A Successful Candidate Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience with Node.js;
• Experience interacting with Typescript;
• Experience with databases, particularly Mongo Database;
• Experience working with External APIs;
• Understanding of how client-server mobile games operate.

• Strong mathematical knowledge;
