CoinTracker simplifies cryptocurrency portfolio tracking and tax compliance, enabling users to manage their crypto assets with ease. Join our globally distributed, early-stage team to solve complex technical challenges and build innovative crypto products that offer peace of mind. As a Backend Engineer in the Integration Expansion Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering new blockchain and exchange integrations, scaling our platform, and troubleshooting critical issues, collaborating closely with engineering, customer experience, and product teams.

Must Have:
- Be part of the newly formed Integration Expansion Team.
- Own and deliver new Integrations (blockchains & exchanges).
- Scale Integrations coverage using existing platform.
- Assist in troubleshooting critical Integrations issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, customer experience & product teams.
- Participate in hiring efforts for the Integration Expansion Team.
- 4+ years of non-internship backend software engineering experience.
- Strong CS and system design fundamentals.
- Write high-quality code, value software testing, and uphold best practices.
- Strong Python knowledge & experience with third party APIs.
- Able to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Able to overlap with core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM Pacific Timezone.

Your mission
Join our close-knit, early-stage distributed team, where we tackle exciting technical challenges and create transformative crypto products that give people peace of mind.
What you will do
- You will be a part of the newly formed Integration Expansion Team that works closely with our Integration engineering team.
- You’ll own and deliver new Integrations (blockchains & exchanges) by using our existing Integrations platform system to scale our Integrations coverage and assist in troubleshooting critical Integrations related issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, customer experience & product teams within Cointracker.
- Participate in hiring efforts to help scale the Integration Expansion Team.
What we look for
- We are hiring experienced backend software engineers with 4+ years of non-internship experience to help build and scale our new Integrations Expansion team.
- Have strong CS and system design fundamentals, write high-quality code, value software testing, and uphold best practices in engineering. Strong Python knowledge & working with third party API’s is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP & cloud fundamentals is preferred.
- Drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment.
- Ability to read blockchain data / understanding of web3 strongly preferred.
- Background in data engineering domain and closely working with customer support team is a plus.
- Able to work effectively in a remote setting and able to overlap with our core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM Pacific Timezone.
