Join Hawk-Eye Innovations as a Baseball Systems Operator in Atlanta, GA, for a contract role from February to September 2026. This position involves live operational delivery of tracking technology for MLB games, including pre-game checks, problem-solving, remote system operation, and ensuring data integrity. You will work an hourly, 8-hour shift pattern, including nights and weekends, at the forefront of sports technology.

We are passionate about Baseball and dedicated to bringing the best experiences to our audience. Our team is constantly growing, and we are looking for talented people to join our expanding team and become Baseball Systems Operators.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology in top-flight sports leagues as part of a passionate and dynamic team.

Whilst we provide a number of services in MLB and MiLB, your primary focus will be live operational delivery of our tracking technology for MLB games during MLB Spring Training and the Regular Season. Before the season starts, you will be provided comprehensive technical training, and once the season is underway, you’ll be based in our Office, operating the baseball tracking system for our clients around the country.

Due to the nature of live Baseball operations, in-season, you will need to be prepared to work nights and weekends. Pre-season, you may also be required to travel within the US on maintenance and/or new system installation visits.

What Does A Typical Day Look Like?

On any given day, you could expect to be involved in any of the following:

  • During the pre-season, we build and prepare our hardware and equipment for on-site installations.
  • Conducting pre-game checks of the systems.
  • Solving problems promptly when issues arise.
  • Reporting issues accurately when they can't be fixed in-game and need further escalation.
  • Operating the technologies during the game remotely from the Office.
  • Liaising with MLB and MLB Teams personnel, both on-site and remotely.
  • Providing real-time, quality data to MLB / MLB Teams.
  • Taking full responsibility for our data integrity.

Working Hours: Due to the nature of the sports industry, there is often work on weekends and midweek evenings, and we are expected to fulfil our roles until the final pitch is thrown.

High-Pressure Situations: This role will involve working in a live broadcast environment on a production that is distributed to millions worldwide.

These factors offer different challenges on a daily basis as an operator. We will do our best to train you and support you to the best possible level in order to help you succeed and develop.
