Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our MMB team at Marsh as a Benefits Manager. This hybrid role, located in Monterrey, NL, requires working at least three days a week in the office. You will efficiently manage a client portfolio, identify commercial opportunities, provide specialized advice, collaborate with internal teams, lead and motivate teams, stay updated on market trends, and prepare detailed reports and analyses on benefits management.
Must have:
  • Efficiently manage the assigned client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive solutions.
  • Identify opportunities, develop and execute commercial strategies that contribute to the fulfillment of individual goals.
  • Provide specialized advice and tailored solutions based on client needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and other business units for a comprehensive approach to service offerings.
  • Lead, guide, and motivate the teams involved in the attention of your portfolio.
  • Stay updated with market trends, current regulations, and best practices in benefits management.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analyses on benefits management and present recommendations.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the benefits sector, preferably in brokerage.
  • Consulting skills and experience performing projections in benefits programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client portfolios of different magnitudes.
  • Solid commercial skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to establish strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to work proactively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • High customer orientation, with the ability to identify needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of local regulations applicable to benefits management.
  • Analytical capacity (claims analysis, handling of factors for cost determination) and complex problem-solving using Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
  • Ability to execute effective commercial strategies, driving growth and profitability.

  • Experience in the creation and implementation of commercial strategies that have resulted in client portfolio growth.
  • Active participation in projects within the benefits sector.
  • Additional degrees or certifications in benefits management, insurance or risk consulting.

What you need to have:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the benefits sector, preferably in brokerage, consulting skills and experience performing projections in benefits programs.
  • Intermediate English (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client portfolios of different magnitudes
