About the Role

This is a career-defining opportunity to play a crucial role in a hyper-scale AI company that is transforming the future of autonomous systems, energy, and the built environment.

As a Building Modeling Engineer, you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to build, validate, and optimize digital building models and system simulations, contributing to real project implementations and helping transform buildings into smart, responsive systems.

What you’ll do

Building and systems modeling: Generate and validate building site and HVAC system digital twins under the PassiveLogic Quantum standard for all customer facing deployments.

Test and validation of the PassiveLogic technology ecosystem: Identify and log bugs throughout PassiveLogic’s technology ecosystem while synchronously working around those bugs to deliver the site model digital twin.

Project deployment: Support our fast-paced rollout of customer-facing implementations and on-site deployments.

Cross-collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on a daily basis, including Customer Success, User Software, Quantum & Digital Twins, AI/Controls, Formal Methods, and more.

Energy optimization and accurate forecasting: Audit client buildings by ensuring the physics-based digital twin models are accurate and adaptable for real-time energy optimization and consumption forecasting.

Contribute to innovation: Participate in refining modeling methodologies and deploying digital twins that drive predictive control and optimization.

What you’ll bring

If your experience does not meet all our posted requirements below, we’d still love to hear from you. We are looking for practitioners who are passionate about understanding people, committed to lifelong learning, and driven by the love of what they do. If that’s you, please apply!
