REGENT is hiring a Business Analytics Co-op to build tools and systems for their team. You'll work with data visualization, scripting, and APIs to optimize efficiency and gain critical insights. Experience with REST APIs, PowerBI, and scripting is essential.

REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers. With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade.

We are actively hiring passionate interns who can help us get our vehicle to market as quickly and safely as possible. We have over $9B in provisional orders from some of the industry’s largest operators and are hitting the ground running.

REGENT seeks a Business Analytics Co-op to join the People & Culture team. Reporting to the Director of Internal Operations, you will have the opportunity to work on tools and systems that keep the team at REGENT operating at the highest levels of performance. You will build connections between our critical systems, including ChartHop, our HRIS system, and various endpoints, including dashboards for our executive team and tools widely used across the organization. You will actively seek out opportunities within our systems where automation can and should be built to optimize organizational efficiency. You will relentlessly research more and better ways to leverage our existing toolchain.

On Day 1, you will be expected to hit the ground running learning our systems. By Week 1, you should be able to pull and push data. After 1 month, you will have built your first internal application, and internal users will leverage it to get critical insights.

Throughout the internship, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the Company’s leadership team. This will give you a rare chance to witness a deep tech Series A startup grow during its early stages, a valuable experience for your future career.

This role requires someone with a deep understanding of scripting, data visualization, and APIs. The right person for this role will be curious by nature but also derive great satisfaction from helping others get the correct data at the right time in the fastest way possible.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher
Ability to work a maximum of 20 hours per week onsite in our North Kingstown, RI office
Deep understanding of REST APIs, data visualization with PowerBI or similar tools
Experience using scripting to build automation
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Exceptional research skills
Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
Experience developing and launching a web application that leverages APIs
Experience working with VBA in Excel to create automation in spreadsheets
