About The Role
As a Business Development Manager for GTM Programs, you will build and scale cross-functional programs that drive global sales impact, pipeline generation, and revenue realization for ThousandEyes.
You will work closely with ThousandEyes sellers, cross-architecture teams, and internal stakeholders to turn ideas into actionable campaigns that accelerate field adoption and align with OneCisco strategic priorities. This is a high-impact role with executive visibility, ideal for someone who thrives in a builder environment and has a strong understanding of sales, execution, and program scaling.
What You’ll Do
- Lead GTM Campaigns: Spearhead and operationalize global and regional GTM initiatives to increase market visibility and generate qualified pipeline.
- Program Design & Execution: Build end-to-end sales activation programs that align with Cisco priorities and ThousandEyes-specific value propositions.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as a key liaison across sales, sales enablement, marketing, product, and SP&O teams to align messaging, delivery, and goals.
- Sales Adoption: Ensure field absorption of competitive plays, product launches, and enablement initiatives (e.g., Splunk, Mobile Endpoints, Competitive Takeouts).
- Campaign Scale: Replicate successful plays across regions and architectures; leverage data to identify opportunities for scale and improvement.
- Global Collaboration: Act as a connector between local and global teams to ensure unified execution of GTM priorities.
- Program Metrics: Track performance of campaigns and programs through data-driven KPIs; make actionable recommendations to optimize impact.
- Executive Visibility: Present insights and business cases to leadership; partner with enablement and sales architecture teams for broader amplification.
Qualifications
- Proven success in SaaS GTM roles, sales enablement, business development, or sales program management.
- Proven track record building GTM programs that drove measurable pipeline or revenue impact.
- Direct experience in sales or deep partnership with sales teams; familiarity with sales lifecycle, seller needs, and quota pressure.
- Skilled in scoping, launching, and scaling programs with measurable KPIs.
- Ability to understand big-picture business objectives and translate them into executable plans.
- Demonstrated success working with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire across levels.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel/Sheets, and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides); experience with enablement or automation platforms is a plus.
- Occasional travel required for planning sessions, events, or internal alignment.
