Job Description

The Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team provides support to HQ and global regional teams on Finance & Business Operation activities. This role focuses on Sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline health checks, reporting, analysis, sales process optimization, cross-functional collaboration, bill of materials, shipment planning, and sales incentive planning. The position is responsible for internal support to HQ, Sales Teams, and customer service, enabling them to resolve issues and stay updated using Salesforce, providing world-class support for Qualcomm’s products and services. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering excellent internal support.
Must have:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PPT, MS Teams).
  • Ability to identify issues, root causes, and provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and policies.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Exercise analytical skill using various sources for solutions.
  • Results-oriented with great attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritizing work, and responding to ad hoc requests.
  • Demonstrable clear and accurate communication skills (in-person, written, teleconference).
  • Collaborate openly, respectfully, inclusively, building trusting relationships.
  • Minimum 6+ years in Business Operations / Sales Operations Service back office.
  • Excellent in managing ERP systems, advanced Excel, and VBA.
  • Experience in process reviewing and team leadership.
  • Master’s degree in Business Management / Analytics, Operations.
  • Ability to focus on details, multitasking, timely process review with quality.
  • Planning & prioritization of assigned work.
  • Flexible for evening calls (8PM – 11PM IST) for HQ reviews.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Engineering/Finance/Marketing with 4+ years experience.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration/Engineering/Finance/Marketing with 6+ years experience.
Good to have:
  • Previous experience of Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Rapid Response, Demantra, SAP.
  • Semiconductor industry preferred.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskill with tools (Adv Excel, Tableau, Power BI).

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering and cultivating excellent internal support throughout the organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following activities:

  • Advanced Computer proficiency of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PPT, MS Teams). Previous experience of Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Rapid Response, Demantra, SAP is an advantage
  • Can identify issues and root causes and uses own judgement to provide feedback solutions to complex problems and can identify the potential solutions
  • Effectively and quickly adapts to new systems, processes, and policies
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Exercises analytical skill within generally defined practices using a variety of sources to find solutions
  • Be results oriented with great attention to detail
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize your own work and respond to ad hoc requests as needed; able to make quick and accurate decisions
  • Must have demonstratable communications skills to be able to communicate clearly and accurately in an open manner whether it be in person, written or via tele conference, and across cultures. Must be able to contribute proactively during meetings
  • Collaborates openly, respectfully, and inclusively creating trusting relationships within own and wider teams and to internal customers to explain issues, gain insights and develop connections. May represent the department as a prime contact for special projects

Education/Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 6+ years related experience in Business Operations / Sales Operations Service back office in a technology-oriented industry. Semiconductor industry preferred.
  • Excellent in managing ERP systems and advanced excel, VBA.
  • Experience in process reviewing and leading team.
  • Master’s degree in business management / Analytics, Operations
  • Ability to focus on details, multitasking, Process reviewer of activities timely with quality output.
  • Planning & prioritization of work assigned.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskills with tools – Adv Excel, Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Flexible for evening calls (8PM – 11PM IST) for HQ reviews and transition calls on regular basis.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 4+ years of business operations or related experience.
  • OR Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 6+ years of business operations or related experience.
