This internship is for enthusiastic university graduates or graduating students to join the Project Management Office in Lucca. You will work on implementing internal applications, offering solutions to employees, and collaborating with various departments. The role involves learning advisory and technology skills, defining strategies, and working on projects like technical data integration and process improvement. You will also support application environments and develop a career in Project Management.
Must have:
  • Deliver value for internal employees through implementation projects
  • Streamline and improve processes, identify bottlenecks, analyze root causes
  • Assist in supporting various application environments (SAP, SALESFORCE, CERTINIA, CHANGEPOINT, CONCUR, EGENCIA, WORKDAY)
  • Apply basic knowledge of business systems to perform routine technical assignments
  • Actively participate in active projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues to understand business needs
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements and technology products
Good to have:
  • Currently studying or completed a degree in a relevant mixed technical and business subject (e.g., Management Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science and Business Informatics, Economics, Business Administration)
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Fast-learner, able to manage time effectively and accurately
  • Good business or technology aptitude
  • Capacity to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Keen interest in developing a career in Project Management

Job Details

We are currently seeking enthusiastic University graduates or graduating students to start and build a fulfilling career within our dynamic Project Management Office in Lucca. We are always looking for those people interested in the latest technologies and work with them to make an impact that matters.

You will work as part of the team that follows all the implementations for Internal Applications, offering solutions for all the internal employees.

You will learn and develop a mix of advisory and technology skills that will help you define effective strategies and put them into action. Collaboration will sit at the heart of everything you do, as you work closely with colleagues, partners and vendors.

What You'll Do:

  • You will be part of a team working to deliver value for our internal employees. For example, you may be part of an end to end implementation project (such as the new Professional Services Automation tool, a Fleet Management solution, a technical data integration between enterprise systems or an innovative pilot project about Machine Learning), working with business stakeholders to define their vision and requirements whilst working with senior colleagues to deliver the solution.
  • You may be part of projects which look to streamline and improve processes, identify bottlenecks, analyse root causes, track benefits and implement effective business change.
  • You will assist in supporting various application environments (SAP, SALESFORCE, CERTINIA, CHANGEPOINT, CONCUR, EGENCIA, WORKDAY, etc.), apply basic knowledge of business systems to perform routine technical assignments and actively participate in one of the several active projects currently on-going.
  • You will be a natural problem solver - curious, tenacious and driven to find the right answers. You will want to collaborate with our colleagues to understand the needs of their business and then identify, design and implement the processes improvements and technology products that will allow them to achieve their business goals.
  • You have a keen interest in developing a career in Project Management, and depending on your skills and experience to date, you may be suited to work in one or more project initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently studying or have completed a degree in a relevant mixed technical and business subject (e.g. Management Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science and Business Informatics, Economics, Business Administration, or similar disciplines).
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills - you will be willing to have relationships with a wide range of business roles and communicate effectively with colleagues and partners, generally within teams of diversified skills - fluent in Italian, good knowledge of English (B2).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Fast-learner, able to manage your time effectively and accurately.
  • No previous experience in the Project Management field is necessary, but rather a good business or technology aptitude along with the capacity to succeed in a fast paced and challenging environment.
