Job Description

Among others,

• Operate a forklift safely to load and unload trailers, checking and respecting the integrity and quality of finished product pallets;
• Ensure that pallets are stored in compliance and/or that delivery is accurate;
• Check the condition of your work equipment and report any problems to be corrected;
• Perform daily tasks for warehouse maintenance;
• Perform other tasks related to the operation and/or maintenance of the department at the request of the department administrator and/or team supervisor.

Qualifications

• School equivalence to a high school diploma;
• Possess a forklift operator's card
• Must successfully complete theoretical and practical forklift operator training to obtain their forklift license;
• Able to work alone and conscientiously;
• Knowledge of safety regulations relating to their function and general factory regulations.

The employee must successfully qualify after a training and/or trial period not exceeding 45 working days to be accepted for the position. The employee must be available to work at both the Pointe St-Charles plant and the Ville Lasalle warehouse as required by the employer.

Additional Information

Salary: $28.02/hour

Schedule: 8 hours, days and evenings from Sunday to Sunday
