This role, embedded in the CEE BU Marketing team, focuses on driving strategic expert transformation and assessing the effectiveness of expert activities across CEE. It combines marketing and sales effectiveness requirements, involving strategy setup, content management, and governance. Key responsibilities include defining expert transformation strategy, analyzing data, influencing senior stakeholders, managing a direct report, creating targeted HCP campaigns, and tracking sales performance. The role requires 12-15 years of experience in consumer health/OTC marketing, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in business transformation and stakeholder influence within a multi-country matrix organization.
Must have:
  • Define CEE Expert Transformation Strategy and key focus areas.
  • Data analysis, development and implementation of effective strategies.
  • Define expert activities impact on brands performance in markets.
  • Understand expert environment across priority CEE countries.
  • Drive continuous knowledge gathering across categories and countries.
  • Work closely with global Expert Marketing organization.
  • Influence key senior stakeholders (CEE Leadership Team, Local Leadership Team).
  • Work with local Expert Marketing managers.
  • Manage 1 direct report.
  • Create targeted marketing campaigns aimed at HCPs.
  • Increase HCP reach in line with categories/brands strategies.
  • Deliver thought leadership content to establish credence & attract HCPs.
  • Define HCPs reach strategy.
  • Define visit targets & incentives for sales force to deliver Expert Advocacy.
  • Track field sales performance.
  • Fluent English.
  • Business management academic degree.
  • At least 12-15 years’ experience in consumer health/OTC marketing.
  • Experience in working with expert marketing.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Multi-country experience.
  • Proven track record of leading transformation of a business.
  • Strong experience in management of field force effectiveness.
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders in an organization.
  • Proven track record in matrix organization ideally in multi country set up.
  • Strong relationships building and problem solving skills.
  • Being bold in moving things forward, pragmatic in turning data into actions, brings outside in.
  • Proficient knowledge of data analysis and the effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Highly developed analytical skills, experience working with numbers, and fluency in brand strategy.
  • Very good orientation in the media, with particular emphasis on digital solutions.

  • Experience in development of successful campaigns targeting HCPs is preferred

About the Role

This fantastic opportunity is embedded in CEE BU Marketing team and reporting to Head of Marketing, CEE.

The purpose of this role is to drive strategic expert transformation with end to end expert activities effectiveness continuous assessment. This role combines strategy set up, content management and governance of effectiveness of expert marketing efforts across CEE. This means the role combines both marketing and sales effectiveness requirements. Key transformation pillars include understanding external environment to shape strategy, influencing key senior stakeholders (level of BU Leadership Team and above) and follow through with local teams to ensure brilliant execution.

Role Responsibilities

  • Define CEE Expert Transformation Strategy and key focus areas that will enable expert marketing to drive acceleration of expert advocacy for priority brands
  • A key aspect of the job is data analysis and the development and implementation of effective strategies
  • Define expert activities impact on brands performance in markets
  • Understand expert environment across priority CEE countries. Drive continuous knowledge gathering across categories and countries. Make sure LOC and BU team is highly capable and understands key growth drivers of expert recommendation
  • Work closely with global Expert Marketing organization to understand global Expert Mkt priorities, key opportunities and best practices. Drive thoughtful implementation across CEE
  • Influence key senior stakeholders – CEE Leadership Team members, as well as Local Leadership Team member to enable proper resources allocation to drive transformation and acceleration of Expert Marketing across LOCs.
  • Work with local Expert Marketing managers, allowing proper priorities setting and enabling organization to deliver Expert Transformation
  • Manage 1 direct report
  • Create targeted marketing campaigns aimed at HCPs
  • Increase HCP reach in line with categories/ brands strategies
  • Make sure thought leadership content is delivered (globally or locally developed) to establish credence & attract HCPs. Influence key stakeholders to deliver this
  • Define HCPs reach strategy
  • Define visit targets & incentives. Work with Local Expert Leads and GMs to set right KPIs and incentives for sales force to deliver Expert Advocacy
  • Track field sales performance
