The Global Head of Marketing Services and Consumer Experience is an executive role reporting into the Group CMO, responsible for strategic advancement of marketing capabilities and enablement. This role oversees marketing workflow, including Media, Partnerships, Operations, and Digital Governance, serving end-to-end marketing across Categories and Business Units. The primary purpose is to design processes, tools, platforms, data, and services that enable global marketers and commercial colleagues to harness scale and enterprise investments, delivering growth efficiently and effectively. This role also maintains senior external partner relationships to ensure our strategy stays up-to-date with industry best practices.
Must have:
  • Develop and execute a long-range plan for marketing transformation, leveraging digital, technology, data, and AI.
  • Create business cases to determine value creation and make strategic choices.
  • Oversee the delivery of key Enterprise Martech services, including Customer Data Platform, Content Single Sign On, Digital Asset Management tools, Content Management System, and Customer Relationship Management.
  • Engage with Category Heads, GMs, Area Marketing Leads, Tech/Data teams, Agency Executives, and Industry Associations to identify business benefits and secure enterprise commitment and investment.
  • Lead the evolution of delivery models, addressing new market requirements and opportunities for automation and offshoring.
  • Ensure appropriate governance and risk controls are in place, addressing dynamic privacy laws and business risks.
  • Manage agencies and partners delivering MarTech tools and services, ensuring adherence to contracted service level agreements.

Role Summary

The Global Head of Marketing Services and Consumer Experience is an executive role reporting into the Group CMO and is responsible for the strategic advancement of our marketing capabilities and enablement.

This role oversees the marketing workflow, including Media, Partnerships, Operations, and Digital Governance, serving end-to-end marketing across Categories and Business Units. The primary purpose is to design processes, tools, platforms, data, and services that enable global marketers and commercial colleagues to harness scale and enterprise investments, delivering growth efficiently and effectively. This role also maintains senior external partner relationships to ensure our strategy stays up-to-date with industry best practices.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Set the Enterprise Martech & Services Vision and Roadmap

  • Develop and execute a long-range plan for marketing transformation, leveraging digital, technology, data, and AI.
  • Create business cases to determine value creation and make strategic choices.

Lead the Team to Execute Against the Strategy

  • Oversee the delivery of key Enterprise Martech services, including Customer Data Platform, Content Single Sign On, Digital Asset Management tools, Content Management System, and Customer Relationship Management.

Liaise with Internal and External Stakeholders

  • Engage with Category Heads, GMs, Area Marketing Leads, Tech/Data teams, Agency Executives, and Industry Associations to identify business benefits and secure enterprise commitment and investment.

Manage Regional/Hub Program Delivery Priorities

  • Lead the evolution of delivery models, addressing new market requirements and opportunities for automation and offshoring.

Chair the Marketing Operations Centre Steering Committee

  • Ensure appropriate governance and risk controls are in place, addressing dynamic privacy laws and business risks.

Oversee a Large Team of In-Market and Offshore Teams

  • Manage agencies and partners delivering MarTech tools and services, ensuring adherence to contracted service level agreements.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Digital/data and technology fluency with significant external market orientation
  • Cross-geography leadership experience
  • Digital marketing experience, including tools, vendors, and trends
  • Brand Marketing experience in BU or Category
  • Experience with highly-virtual, global, and diverse teams
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving and negotiation capabilities
  • Previous experience at an agency or platform (Google/Amazon/Meta)
  • Senior stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Consumer, Pharma or healthcare industry experience Preferred
