Job Description

The Channel OEM Account Manager at Intel partners with sales engineers to align new technologies with customer strategies, identify and close revenue opportunities across hardware, software, services, and foundry, focusing on Client Computing and Xeon W. This role involves collaborating with ecosystem partners, influencing sales revenue, and maximizing business with assigned accounts. Responsibilities also include gathering customer feedback, resolving issues, understanding Intel's business practices, and leveraging programs to boost OEM sales.
Must have:
  • Partner with sales applications engineer to align Intel technologies with customer strategies
  • Uncover and nurture emerging revenue opportunities including hardware, software, services, and foundry
  • Close new design win opportunities for global product portfolio (Client Computing, Xeon W)
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners such as distributors, OEMs, and ISVs
  • Influence and enable billing / sales through revenue
  • Maximize business with assigned accounts over the short and long-term
  • Identify growth opportunities through account planning and delivery execution
  • Gather customer feedback and establish recovery action plans
  • Develop a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions and code of ethics
  • Leverage various Intel programs to boost sales for OEM customers
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent qualification
  • 10+ years of experience as a product specialist, product manager, sales, or sales management in computer and information technology
  • Solid understanding of PC market and ecosystem, especially on channel / distribution business model
  • Able to travel for business to visit customers
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including ability to interact and communicate with senior management
  • Comprehend Intel Client Computing and Graphics component/system product and solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in English

Job Description:

Partners with sales applications engineer to align new Intel technologies and product roadmaps to the customer's technology, product, and business strategies. Uncovers and nurtures emerging revenue opportunities including hardware, software, services, and foundry. Closes new design win opportunities that result in billed revenue (sales in and/or sales through) resulting in a global product portfolio (focus on Client Computing and Xeon W) available for customers to select for their regional markets. Collaborates with ecosystem partners such as distributors, OEMs, and ISVs in support of assigned accounts. Influences and enables billing / sales through revenue, while maximizing the business with assigned accounts over the short and long-term. Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to identify growth opportunities through account planning and delivery execution. Gathers customer feedback of assigned accounts to understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction. Determines the root cause for issues/risks and establishes recovery action plans as needed to improve customers' overall experience. Develop a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions and code of ethics. Leverage various Intel programs to boost sales for OEM customers and explore more business opportunities. Note: This is a commissioned sales position.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent qualification.

2. 10+ years of experience as a product specialist, product manager, sales, or sales management in organizations related to computer and information technology.

3. Solid understanding of PC market and ecosystem, especially on channel / distribution business model.

4. Able to travel for business to visit customers.

5. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including ability to interact and communicate with senior management.

6. Comprehend Intel Client Computing and Graphics component/system product and solutions.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in English.
