Job Description

The CI/CD Specialist will enhance and maintain build, deployment, and automation pipelines for game development. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gradle, Groovy, Helm, Terraform, and GCP. The role requires managing infrastructure resources, improving cloud-based deployment strategies, implementing Gitflow, collaborating with developers and QA, ensuring code quality and security, and identifying performance bottlenecks. Experience with Unity and other game engines is a plus. The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of game development pipelines is desirable.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated CI/CD Specialist who will work to enhance and maintain our build, deployment, and automation pipelines. This role is crucial in ensuring fast, reliable, and scalable workflows that empower our development teams to deliver high-quality games efficiently. You will work with modern DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure, and automation technologies to improve our CI/CD capabilities.

Build & Deployment Automation

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support game development

  • Work with Jenkins, Gradle, and Groovy to enhance automation and build reliability

  • Ensure full support for Unity and other game engines within the build system.

Infrastructure as Code & Cloud Automation

  • Utilize Helm, Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to manage infrastructure resources

  • Improve cloud-based deployment strategies and automate infrastructure provisioning

  • Implement Gitflow best practices to enhance code review processes.

Collaboration & Workflow Improvements

  • Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to optimize CI/CD workflows

  • Help maintain Jira boards and workflows to improve efficiency and visibility

  • Contribute to the architectural vision of CI/CD and tooling within the team.

Quality & Security Best Practices

  • Ensure high code quality standards, including linting, automated testing, and security compliance

  • Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to improve maintainability and efficiency

  • identify and address performance bottlenecks in build and deployment pipelines

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in CI/CD, DevOps, or build automation roles.

  • Strong hands on experience with Jenkins, Gradle, Groovy, Helm, Terraform, and GCP

  • Familiarity with Unity and other game engines within CI/CD workflows a plus

  • Experience with Gitflow best practices, code reviews, and linting

  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure automation and best practices

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment

  • Prior experience in the gaming industry or knowledge of game development pipelines a nice to have.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  • Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools and cloud technologies.
