A Client Engagement Supervisor takes a leadership role, managing the entire project lifecycle through Hogarth Studios. The role acts as a liaison between Hogarth, clients, agency leads, and internal teams, requiring a deep understanding of design and production execution across all media types. The supervisor ensures clear communication, effective project execution, and continuous oversight of dynamic projects.

  • Maintain clear documentation of job history.
  • Communicate effectively with all Hogarth functional area leads.
  • Identify opportunities to improve work process and quality.
  • Accurately record time spent on projects.

What does a Client Engagement Supervisor do at Hogarth?

A Client Engagement Supervisor takes a leadership role and is responsible for managing the entire life cycle of a project through the Hogarth Studios (Detroit, UK and NY). Major responsibilities include building trusting relationships, delivering smart solutions for client needs and creatively problem-solving to ensure that client experiences with Hogarth are positive and rewarding.

In addition, a Client Engagement Supervisor will ingest, estimate, track budgets, resource talent, meet deadlines for deliverables and bill for a variety of projects on a day-to-day basis. You will be the liaison between Hogarth, its clients and agency leads and internal Hogarth teams and must have a deep understanding of design and production execution across all media types.

Reporting lines and key stakeholders:

This role reports to the Client Engagement Director, Detroit.

You will work closely with the client, production, and finance.

Requirements

  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients/agency leads and create positive experiences for all who interact with Hogarth/Makerhouse
  • Provide working solutions and education about Hogarth capabilities and processes to clients for successful execution of their projects
  • Ensure clear team communication and effective execution of projects
  • Understand and implement the process of managing projects in Hogarth, including opening, creating detailed estimates, tracking project budgets and billing projects
  • Provide client with estimates within 24 hours (unless otherwise specified), and upon estimate approval, actively ensure that PO’s are procured in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate with Resource Managers to identify and manage resources within Hogarth (Design and Multi-Channel Production, Video & Post-Production, Art Production, Print Production and CGI production) to successfully complete projects on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with Hogarth Finance to resolve any financial concerns
  • Provide continuous oversight and solutions to effectively manage progress on ever-changing dynamic projects
  • Maintain clear documentation of job history
  • Communicate effectively with all Hogarth functional area leads to ensure cross-functional projects run smoothly
  • Identify opportunities and develop measures to improve work process and quality of end product
  • Accurately record time spent on projects

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Possess an understanding of current software technologies including the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess an understanding of current production methods and technologies used to prepare files for output, delivery and storage (Design, CGi, Retouching, Video/Post Production, Print Production)
  • Detailed timeline management, organization, problem solving and management of many different teams/disciplines to execute complex production projects.
  • Ability to estimate and track budgets on projects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising or Business preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in account and/or project management with the ability to maintain and foster strong client relationships, preferably in advertising, design and production
