Job Description

The Talent Partner at Hogarth will be a hands-on Recruiter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This role involves consulting with senior management on recruitment issues, solving people problems, and thriving in a startup culture. Key responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting for full-time and freelance roles, sourcing, shortlisting, coordinating interviews, managing offers, writing job ads, identifying new sourcing methodologies, coordinating external agency relationships, and maintaining data integrity in systems like iCims. The role also requires building trusted relationships and acting as a brand ambassador.
Must Have:
  • Resourcing at all levels, recruiting appropriately-skilled staff for full-time and freelance roles.
  • First interviewer for all candidates, sourcing, shortlisting and recommending candidates for second stage interview.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and testing follow-up.
  • Manage offers to studio sustain and launch project candidates; working closely with HR to coordinate contracts, visas and start dates.
  • Write job advertisements and decide most effective vehicle(s) for ad placement.
  • Constantly identify new and creative sourcing methodologies for an ongoing pipeline of potential freelancers.
  • Coordinate external agency relationships where applicable for volume and project hiring.
  • Database management for candidates and agencies, maintaining integrity of data systems (eg iCims).
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and staff at all levels of the business.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Hogarth California with candidates.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in technical recruiting for digital and content production roles.
  • Organized and structured approach to recruitment process.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a high volume of resumes, roles and candidate correspondence.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably iCims.
  • Skilled interviewer, preferably experienced at competency and behavioral based interviewing.
  • Highly driven and focused with high energy levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adeptness to change and the ability to work through ambiguous situations and shifting priorities.
  • Proactive nature to provide recommendations to improve processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and computer system skills.
  • Must be available and open to working flexible hours, with potential for night shifts during peak periods.

What does a Recruiter do at Hogarth?

Role summary:

The Talent Partner will need to be someone who is comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment. As well as recruiting, you will be required to consult with senior management on various recruitment issues. You will also be solving people problems and will need the ability to thrive in a startup culture. This role is all about bringing on the smartest folks, maintaining our culture as we grow, and running an efficient process to keep it moving.

Key responsibilities:

  • Resourcing at all levels, recruiting appropriately-skilled staff for the variety of roles across full-time and freelance
  • First interviewer for all candidates, sourcing, shortlisting and recommending candidates for second stage interview with Line Managers
  • Coordinate interview schedules and testing follow-up
  • Manage offers to studio sustain and launch project candidates; working closely with the HR department to coordinate contracts, visas and start dates
  • Write job advertisements and decide most effective vehicle(s) for ad placement
  • Constantly identify new and creative sourcing methodologies in order to ensure an ongoing pipeline of potential freelancers
  • Coordinate external agency relationships where applicable for volume and project hiring.
  • Database management for candidates and agencies, maintaining integrity of data systems (eg iCims)
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and staff at all levels of the business
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Hogarth California with candidates
  • Ad-hoc HR administrative related activities including new hire orientation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in technical recruiting for digital and content production roles.
  • Organized and structured approach so that all levels of the recruitment process are recorded effectively, providing confidence to hiring managers and candidates.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a high volume of resumes, roles and candidate correspondence.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably iCims.
  • Skilled interviewer, preferably experienced at competency and behavioral based interviewing.
  • Highly driven and focused with high energy levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – demonstrable evidence that you can build relationships at all levels of the business, be trusted and known to always act with integrity.
  • Adeptness to change and the ability to work through ambiguous situations and shifting priorities.
  • Proactive nature – to provide recommendations to improve processes relating to the delivery of recruitment services to the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and computer system skills.

Shift Flexibility Requirement: The incumbent must be available and open to working flexible hours, with the potential for night shifts being required a few times per year during peak periods.
