Job Description

The Client Services Representative will become familiar with Zelis clients, understanding their history, operations, and needs. They will resolve customer issues, clarify problems, determine causes, and guide them to a successful resolution. Responsibilities include managing help desk tickets, conducting calls with clients, responding to issues, managing training requests, and maintaining client information. The candidate should have a healthcare background, excellent communication skills, and computer knowledge.
Must have:
  • 4+ years in client management or support with healthcare background.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare industry and revenue cycle focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working independently and in team settings.
  • Intermediate to expert level MS Excel skills.

Position Overview

This position exists to become intimately familiar with assigned Zelis clients by researching and understanding their history, operations, and business needs. The Client Services Representative acts as a point of contact to help resolve customer problems by clarifying issues, determining causes, selecting and explaining the best course of action and applying the appropriate resources to reach a successful resolution. In addition, this position will train end users to understand the system operations. This position reports to the Manager of Client Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage help desk ticketing and claim review/analysis queues
  • Conduct regular calls with clients to discuss open issues, manage expectations, etc.
  • Respond to client issues in a timely manner, including working applicable issues and triaging those outside of immediate influence
  • Manage ad hoc training requests for process/navigation of product with clients
  • Maintain current client information via the company’s helpdesk system and other methods
  • Continue to expand industry and product knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 4+ years’ experience in client management and/or support, with a healthcare background
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry and focus on revenue cycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce simple messaging from complex systems/concepts
  • Experience working both independently and in dynamic team settings
  • Computer knowledge – specifically MS Office, with a focus on intermediate to expert level in MS Excel

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
