The Team:
Are you passionate about data, finance, and technology? Join our team as a Cloud FinOps Analyst and help us manage and optimize our technology and operational costs with a heavy focus on our cloud services costs. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, budgeting, and cost analysis across cloud and IT services.
Performance Objectives
• Track and report on technology and cloud service costs to help teams stay within budget.
• Analyze usage trends across cloud and IT services to identify cost-saving opportunities while also keeping up to speed on the current cloud pricing models.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with Finance and Procurement.
• Help maintain cost visibility through dashboards and regular reporting, which includes monitoring cloud service reservations and commitments.
• Ensure proper tagging and documentation of resources for accurate cost tracking.
• Contribute to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities related to technology spend.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to share best practices and support cost efficiency initiatives.
Competitive Candidate Profile
• Strong interest in finance, data analysis, and technology.
• Basic understanding of budgeting, forecasting, or cost tracking.
• Familiarity with Excel or other data tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Power BI).
• Good communication skills – able to explain findings clearly to different teams.
• Willingness to learn cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and financial tools.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment.
• 1+ year of experience in a finance, operations, or technology-related role is preferred.
