Job Summary

Zeta, a Next-Gen Banking Tech company founded in 2015, is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer II. The company empowers banks and fintechs to launch future-ready banking products using its cloud-native processing platform, Zeta Tachyon. The role involves creating and enhancing network infrastructure using Terraform for Cloud AWS, Azure, and Cloudflare CDN, deploying and managing compute resources, building network automation scripts for firewalls and routers, and providing technical training and documentation.

Must Have

Good fundamentals on AWS & Azure network services
Hands-on on Linux OS
Infrastructure as code & Configuration management tools (Terraform & Python)
Python programming/scripting for network & firewall automation
Understanding of Rest API Python framework
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm Chart
CI/CD practices, Bitbucket and Deployment patterns
Cloud security / DevSecOps Practices
Experience in AWS or Azure Cloud
Observability practices and toolchains

Good to Have

Create and enhance terraform code for Cloud AWS and Azure Network Infrastructure
Deploy and manage compute resources in VM and Kubernetes
Build network automation scripts for Firewall and router configuration
Provide technical training and documentation for network automation
Learn new technologies and integration for network automation
Identify gaps and provide solutions with automation

Responsibilities:

Create and enhance terraform code for Cloud AWS and Azure Network Infrastructure (Multi region and Multi accounts) and Cloudflare CDN.
Ability to deploy and manage compute resources in VM and Kubernetes based environments for monitoring and observability
Build network automation scripts for Firewall and router configuration, Monitoring and Alerts.
Provide technical training and documentation for network automation.
Willingness to learn new technologies and integration for network automation
Identify gaps and pain points of the network team and provide solutions with automation which is easy to use and maintain.

Skills:

Must have good fundamentals knowledge on AWS & Azure network services/components
Good hands-on on Linux OS
Experienced with infrastructure as code & Configuration management tools like Terraform & Python
Experienced in Python programing/scripting for network & firewall automation
Good understanding of Rest API Python framework
Understanding and experience on Kubernetes and Helm Chart
Knowledge about CI/CD practices, Bitbucket and Deployment patterns and relevant toolsets
Well versed with Cloud security / DevSecOps Practices
Candidates Must have experience in AWS or Azure Cloud.
Experienced in observability practices and toolchains (Monitoring, Metrics, Logging, Alerts & Tracing)

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.).
2 to 4 years of experience in Cloud network and infrastructure Automation.
