Job Summary

AnaVation is seeking a Senior level Network Engineer to design, install, maintain, and evaluate network and communications systems. This role involves gathering user network requirements, producing clear technical documentation, and supporting a multi-enclave environment to enable secure data access. The engineer will troubleshoot network issues, assist with architecture design, improve deployment processes, and respond to critical incidents, contributing to innovative solutions and an engaging culture.

Must Have

  • Design, install, maintain, and evaluate network systems and communications systems
  • Gather user network requirements utilizing multiple methodologies
  • Provide necessary technical documentation, system requirements documents, and security requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues involving various protocols, topologies, and networking hardware
  • Assist with network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies
  • Improve processes for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure
  • Work independently and collectively to help improve network solutions
  • Design, deploy, test, certify, and patch network components including switches, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Address interoperability issues for all features, components, and application dependencies
  • Respond to and resolve critical network incidents within designated resolution timelines
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber security, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber operations, cyber security, or related field
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with a CI polygraph
  • Strong understanding of multi-enclave network environments
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure networks in government environments
  • Experience with SAFe Agile framework
  • Advanced proficiency with Network hardware (Cisco, Arista, SonicWall)
  • Advanced proficiency with Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S)
  • Advanced proficiency with Firewall configuration and management
  • Advanced proficiency with Load balancer implementation
  • Advanced proficiency with Software-defined networking
  • Advanced proficiency with VPN technologies
  • Advanced proficiency with Network security principles and practices
  • Advanced proficiency with Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Advanced proficiency with Network performance optimization
  • Advanced proficiency with Cloud networking (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)
  • Advanced proficiency with Containerization networking (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Advanced proficiency with Tunneling protocols (GRE, IPSec, SSH, SSL)
  • Advanced proficiency with Cross-domain solutions
  • Advanced proficiency with Network automation and orchestration

Good to Have

  • Relevant network certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience with Nutanix
  • DevSecOps practices and tools

  • Assist with network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies

Required Qualifications:
