Job Summary
AnaVation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, test, certify, operate, and maintain DevSecOps infrastructure tools. This role involves supporting the primary Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team for multiple enterprise tools, resolving interoperability issues, performing patching and upgrades, and ensuring the reliability, security, and robustness of the infrastructure. The engineer will also deploy and configure services using IaaS providers, manage Linux servers, debug cluster-based computing, and partner with development and security teams to align CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps best practices. This position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and is on-site in Chantilly, VA.
Must Have
- Design, deploy, test, certify, and operate DevSecOps infrastructure tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues across operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies.
- Deploy and configure services using infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) providers.
- Configure and manage Linux-based servers to support dynamic web applications.
- Debug and support cluster-based computing architecture.
- Install, configure, and maintain open-source monitoring and observability tools.
- Partner with development and security teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines align with DevSecOps best practices.
- Use scripting and programming (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate deployments and improve system reliability.
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
- Support a multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps or related field.
- Experience with SAFe Agile framework.
- Strong understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements.
- Demonstrated experience implementing DevSecOps practices in secure government environments.
- Experience with data processing, automation, and ETL workflow orchestration.
- Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with GitLab or similar version control and DevOps platforms.
- Understanding of network architecture and security best practices in classified environments.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph.
- Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Advanced proficiency with Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Advanced proficiency with Search and indexing tool clusters (ElasticSearch, Apache Solr).
- Advanced proficiency with Repository Managers (JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus).
- Advanced proficiency with Database servers (MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL).
- Advanced proficiency with Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S).
- Advanced proficiency with Virtualization (VMware vSphere, VxRail).
- Advanced proficiency with Open-source monitoring frameworks (Prometheus, Nagios, Grafana).
- Advanced proficiency with Security and networking (SSH, SSL/TLS, Key Vaults).
- Advanced proficiency with Server side technologies (Apache Tomcat).
