Senior Cloud Developer

AnaVation is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to design and implement cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks. This role involves automating cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and supporting a robust hybrid cloud infrastructure. The developer will analyze applications for cloud migration, provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization, and develop/migrate applications to the cloud. They will also debug cloud stacks, manage policies, establish secure cloud environments, and ensure availability/uptime.

Must Have

• Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks
• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices
• Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration to cloud environments
• Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization of cloud services
• Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud
• Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of cloud services
• Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design
• Work independently designing and developing new software products for cloud environments
• Enhance existing cloud software for performance and scalability
• Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
• Support the multi-enclave environment
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development
• At least 3 years focused on cloud technologies
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility and CI polygraph
• Experience with SAFe Agile framework
• Strong understanding of cloud security requirements in government environments
• Advanced proficiency with AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S cloud platforms
• Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Advanced proficiency with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Advanced proficiency with Cloud security implementation
• Advanced proficiency with Serverless computing (Lambda, S3)
• Advanced proficiency with Database services (RDS, DynamoDB)
• Advanced proficiency with Cloud networking and VPC configuration
• Advanced proficiency with CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
• Advanced proficiency with Monitoring and logging solutions
• Advanced proficiency with Python, .NET C#, or other development languages
• Advanced proficiency with Microservices architecture
• Advanced proficiency with API Gateway implementation
• Advanced proficiency with Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms
• Advanced proficiency with Cost optimization techniques for cloud resources
• Advanced proficiency with Hybrid cloud and on-premises integration

• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices
• Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration to cloud environments
• Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization of cloud services
• Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud
• Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of cloud services
• Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design
• Work independently designing and developing new software products for cloud environments
• Enhance existing cloud software for performance and scalability

This position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph. This position is on-site with our customer in Chantilly, VA.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years focused on cloud technologies
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with a CI polygraph.
• Experience with SAFe Agile framework
• Strong understanding of cloud security requirements in government environments
