Vimeo is seeking a Commercial Account Executive II for the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan Area to drive revenue growth by selling Vimeo Enterprise solutions. This role involves owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead conversion to product demonstrations and RFI/RFP processes. The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to top Japanese companies, helping them leverage video for business goals, and will contribute to sales strategies while maintaining meticulous CRM data.
Must have:
  • Exceed sales quota targets by strategically selling Vimeo Enterprise solutions to key accounts throughout Japan.
  • Develop and execute creative outbound prospecting strategies to generate new business.
  • Manage and convert high-value inbound leads.
  • Articulate Vimeo's unique value proposition to enterprise clients.
  • Become an expert in business challenges and a trusted partner for video communication needs.
  • Run a full-cycle sales process from discovery to close.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations.
  • Lead the RFI/RFP process for complex deals.
  • Maintain meticulous CRM data in Salesforce.com.
  • Ensure a healthy pipeline and accurate forecasting.
  • 3+ years of experience in generating new SaaS sales.
  • Consistent and verifiable track record of exceeding sales targets in an enterprise sales environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the online video and live streaming landscape.
  • Strong sales foundation and mastery of sales methodologies.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both native-level Japanese and fluent English.
  • Currently residing in the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan Area.

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Exceed sales quota targets by strategically selling Vimeo Enterprise solutions to key accounts throughout Japan.
  • Build Your Pipeline: Develop and execute creative outbound prospecting strategies to generate new business, while expertly managing and converting high-value inbound leads.
  • Become a Trusted Advisor: Articulate Vimeo's unique value proposition to enterprise clients, becoming an expert in their business challenges and a trusted partner for their video communication needs.
  • Lead the Charge: Run a full-cycle sales process from discovery to close, including conducting compelling product demonstrations and leading the RFI/RFP process for complex deals.
  • Contribute and Collaborate: Play a key role in developing sales strategies and best practices for the Japanese market, sharing your expertise and mentoring junior team members to foster a high-performing team culture.
  • Operate with Excellence: Maintain meticulous CRM data in Salesforce.com, ensuring a healthy pipeline and accurate forecasting to drive predictable business results.

Who You Are & What You Bring:

  • Proven Performer: 3+ years of experience in generating new SaaS sales, with a consistent and verifiable track record of exceeding sales targets in an enterprise sales environment.
  • Video Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the online video and live streaming landscape, including technologies, use cases, and key competitors.
  • Master of the Craft: A strong sales foundation built through formal training and hands-on experience, demonstrating a mastery of sales methodologies.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both native-level Japanese and fluent English. Your ability to present persuasively and manage time effectively is second to none.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a fluid, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. You are supportive, proactive, and contribute to a positive culture.
