Must have:
  • Lead demand generation/field marketing programs for the Japanese market

  • Localize and operate email nurturing programs for Japanese target audience
  • Manage online and offline campaign progress within deadlines and budget
  • Research, plan, and execute domestic events
  • Support exhibition/conference operations
  • Work with Japanese sales team to align marketing strategy and sales goals
  • Create and manage sales enablement materials
  • Jointly develop account targeting, lead qualification, and follow-up strategies with sales

Position Overview

Vimeo's Demand Generation Marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketing Associate to lead growth in the Japanese market. This position is ideal for someone highly analytical, results-oriented, and proactive.

In this role, you will drive new lead acquisition and pipeline expansion for Vimeo Enterprise and Vimeo OTT through third-party events, Vimeo-hosted events, webinars, partner marketing, ABM, and integrated campaigns.

Working closely with the global team, you will be responsible for the growth strategy in the Japanese market, providing opportunities for career advancement and global experience. We welcome individuals who are passionate about B2B SaaS products and want to make a significant impact in the Japanese market.

Main Duties

Campaign Execution

  • Lead demand generation/field marketing programs for the Japanese market to drive high-quality leads and pipeline expansion.
  • Collaborate with the global marketing team to deploy paid digital campaigns and SEO.
  • Localize and operate email nurturing programs tailored to the Japanese target audience.
  • Manage the progress of both online and offline campaigns, ensuring execution within deadlines and budget.

Event Support

  • Responsible for researching, planning, and executing domestic events.
  • Provide comprehensive support for exhibition and conference operations (budget, vendor management, operational support) through post-event analysis and follow-up.

Sales Collaboration

  • Work with the Japanese sales team to ensure alignment between marketing strategy and sales goals.
  • Create and manage sales enablement materials (campaign overviews, promotional materials, reports, etc.).
  • Jointly develop account targeting, lead qualification, and follow-up strategies with sales.

Performance Analysis and Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze campaign results to identify areas for improvement and optimize.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau and Salesforce to track key KPIs (lead acquisition, conversion rates, pipeline influence).
  • Collaborate with the marketing operations team to improve operational processes.

Professional Growth

  • Continuously keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in demand generation and field marketing.
  • Continuously strengthen skills through training, conferences, and self-study.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of practical experience in demand generation/field marketing (including cross-functional collaboration experience).
  • Japanese: Native level, English: Business level (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Experience in introducing and expanding solutions in new markets.
  • High organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data analysis skills, experience in reporting and proposing improvements.
  • Deep understanding of lead nurturing, lead scoring, and demand generation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication/writing/presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative attitude.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Deep understanding of the Japanese market (industry trends, competitive environment, cultural background, etc.).
  • Experience using marketing automation (Marketo preferred) and CRM (Salesforce preferred).
  • Experience with data analysis using Tableau or Looker.
