PwC’s South East Asia Consulting (SEAC) Commercial Team drives analytical insights business wide, drives the commercial agenda and provide direct management insight to c-suite and wider leadership.
PwC’s South East Asia Consulting (SEAC) Clients & Markets Team defines our clients experience, drives regional commercial agenda and builds marketing and sales structures to improve connectivity across SEAC.
The role sits within the SEAC Commercial team and works closely with the SEAC Clients & Markets to help improve regional financial performance.

Responsibilities

Based in the Philippines working directly with SEAC Commercial Team and closely with the SEAC Clients and Markets Team this unique role provides direct exposure to the regional: C-Suite Leadership, Partnership group, Industry and Client leads, with the goal of furthering SEAC’s regional commercial agenda

You will help develop and execute upon key parts of the firm’s pricing strategy, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders across the organization. Including:

  • Lead inflight job reviews of strategic high value projects – ensuring adherence to commercial, pricing and delivery best practice - by acting as a key advisor at the intersection between financial requirements and consulting delivery
  • Ensuring that all financial matters are addressed efficiently and promptly by tracking and monitoring that financial health of the engagement
  • Supporting Partners and the Pricing team price across the breadth of service propositions that PwC Consulting offers, underpinned by robust commercial analysis driving profitable growth
  • Analyse portfolio performance and develop strategies and programs to improve overall profitability
  • Support the build of relevant commercial tools and templates to drive appropriate self-serve functionality across teams to ultimately improve firm’s pricing effectiveness
  • Propose and implement improvements to processes or tools, including any establishment of a service team to support SEAC or ASEANZ teams.
  • Help deliver training to uplift pricing capability across business teams
  • Own and maintain repository of all major firm’s pricing commitments, including master service agreements to ensure contractual obligations are met and adhered to
  • Support bid and proposal teams with accurate and robust costing, enabling them to make profitable pricing decisions, including ongoing reporting and analytics to track post implementation performance
  • Collaborate with various client and internal teams to improve pricing and profitability across the firm

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to apply a commercial lens to in-flight projects
  • Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable with difficult conversations and confrontation – even with senior employees and Partners
  • Self-starter mentality who is comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Advanced technical expertise with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Able to make connections between complex data sets
  • Sound financial competence, such as accounting and profitability measures
  • Strong organisation, multitasking and time management skills
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills in English, other languages a bonus
  • Ability to build customized commercial collateral, pricing tools and templates

Additional Desired Skills

  • 6+ years’ experience working within a professional environment, preferably with exposure to Consulting or other project related work,
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a local and/or overseas university pursuing a degree in: Business, Strategy or a related field
