We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

What you need to know about the role-

The Committee Governance Analyst is responsible for the organization, administration, and management of PayPal’s global Risk Committee Governance Framework. This role requires a self-motivated individual that is able to effectively work and communicate collaboratively / cross-functionally with multiple teams located in different geographies. The Committee Governance Analyst must have a hands-on approach, strong intellectual curiosity and attention to detail and organization.

Job Description:

Your way to impact

• Enhance PayPal’s risk committee governance framework, including creating or improving governance processes, developing templates, and driving alignment across global boards and risk committees.
• Execute PayPal’s comprehensive risk committee framework, including developing meeting agendas, shaping meeting materials, setting committee calendars, and drafting minutes.
• Maintain the system of record for PayPal’s risk committee governance framework.
• Review key metrics, reporting, and escalations to senior leadership and risk management committees / boards of directors.
• Respond to requests for information from external partners, internal audit, and regulators or examiners.
• Actively develop relationships and work collaboratively with cross functional groups.
• Assist in implementation of strategic initiatives.

In your day to day role you will...

• Contribute to team discussions and engage in collaborative problem-solving related to risk management.
• Assist in identifying and analyzing risks that may impact operations and objectives.
• Suggest efficiencies and improvements within defined processes and procedures.
• Exercise judgment in executing tasks and contributing to solutions.
• Support the implementation of risk management strategies and initiatives.

What do you need to bring

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and/ or a degree in government, public policy, or law preferred.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to influence others.
• Ability to multitask effortlessly and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, manage projects and drive/achieve results.
• Strong computer knowledge; excellent MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Operate with strong integrity with the ability to handle projects of a sensitive and confidential nature.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $69,000 to $113,850

For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
