Job Description

This role will support the integration of compliance activities and awareness into standard work processes, enhancing and developing processes to be compliant, lean, and productive as expected by Aptiv, its customers, investors, and communities. Responsibilities include supporting Aptiv Supply Chain's legal, regulatory, and customer compliance requirements, such as conflict minerals programs, risk assessments, screening, and monitoring. The role involves implementing Aptiv's SCM Compliance policies, performance metrics, and operating frameworks to meet requirements and drive sustainability and ethical procurement. Developing and implementing process documentation, building brand value for the SCM Compliance team, and managing a mix of self-directed and management tasks are also key duties.

Job Details

This role will support further integration of compliance activities and awareness in the process activities that guide our standard work as well as ensuring we enhance, develop or change our processes as appropriate to be as compliant, lean and productive as Aptiv, our customers, our investors and our communities expect them to be.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The role covers all Supply Chain process and compliance aspects pertaining to:

  • Support on Aptiv Supply Chain’s legal, regulatory and customer compliance requirements, including: conflict minerals program, risk assessments, screening and monitoring.

  • Implement Aptiv’s SCM Compliance polices, performance metrics and operating framework to ensure meeting Aptiv Supply Chain’s legal, regulatory and customer compliance requirements and drive Aptiv’s Supply-chain Sustainability and Ethical Procurement agenda.

  • Develop and implement process documentation as relevant.

  • Build brand value of SCM Compliance team among stakeholders and ensure regular connect-up with key stakeholders.

  • Mix of management and self-directed tasks

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Third Level Degree in Business or related discipline desired

  • Supply Chain management experience including focus on SCM Compliance topics (especially Human Rights & Environment)

  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with various direct and dotted line reporting structures above and below

  • Experience working in a multi-national environment, dealing with Global Stakeholders

  • Fluent English language in speech and writing

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple initiatives at the same time

  • Accurate, analytical and process driven way of working

  • Very good communication and presentation skills

  • Proactive attitude, ability to work independently and passion to learn

  • Problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage the project(s)

  • Interested in Lean and continuous improvement

  • Creativity and ability to collaborate and develop relationships

  • Product Quality, engineering process knowledge

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (e.g. Pivot Table/Filters/Formulas Vlookup/If/Or/And/ Conditional formatting/Charts) and Power Point, including data visualization
