Job Description

This Category Leader role at Aptiv involves leading sourcing activities for Consumables (MRO, BPT, Asset Repair, Packaging), negotiating agreements, executing RFx activities, and resolving third-party issues. The position requires at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, corporate purchasing experience, a degree in business administration or logistics, and advanced English proficiency. The role also includes daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, customer follow-up, and cost center support.
Must Have:
  • Lead sourcing activities related to the acquisition of Consumables (MRO, BPT, Asset Repair, Packaging).
  • Negotiate agreements ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
  • Execute RFx activities.
  • Resolve third-party issues raised by companies or by the third parties themselves.
  • Attend to and manage portfolio assigned by segment, suppliers, and/or companies.
  • Handle and attend to daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Follow up with clients via email.
  • Attend to and manage reports and/or incidents via email.
  • Support the cost center.
  • +2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience in corporate purchasing.
  • Completed career in business administration, Logistics or related field.
  • Advanced English.
