The development of modern phased array radars requires a multi-disciplinary approach in which the functional concept, the antenna, the electronics, and the electrical and cooling infrastructure are addressed simultaneously. In this multi-disciplinary team, the working area consists the development of new antenna and/or microwave concepts, introduction of new technologies and development of new Radar front-end designs. For our HW development engineering team, we are searching for a Component Engineer.
You are responsible for the introduction and registration of electronics components (catalog materials and customized derivatives) used for the design of electronic functions implemented in high-end analog and digital circuits and realized on PCBs. In your job, you will be the linking pin between design teams, purchasing, obsolescence engineering and component vendors, providing advice and guard the balance between technology, quality, cost and logistics, often in an international environment.
