Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with External Development | Concept Team to provide feedback to Service Providers.
- Partner with other disciplines to understand tasks and scope of work for Service Providers.
- Assist in overseeing the external creation of concept art and providing written and verbal feedback.
- Follow the established processes for giving feedback and reporting on reoccurring issues to ensure that we provide feedback in a timely manner to the vendor.
- Self-sufficiency in identifying reoccurring issues and can provide supplementary guidance and reference as needed.
- Be able to manage emergent tasks and execute them within the allotted timelines.
Qualification:
- 3+ years of experience in full cycle development as a concept artist.
- You have a proven ability to quickly produce effective paint overs to provide clear guidance to Service Providers.
- You are adaptable and respond to feedback from Service Providers and apply it to create stronger partnerships and clearer direction.
- You are an advocate for your Service Provider and present their work to the internal team with confidence.
- You have a great eye for concept art creation and graphic design and the ability to provide meaningful actionable feedback.
- You can meet deadlines and communicate blockers for Service Providers.
- Understanding of 3D Software such as Maya or Blender to export mesh for Service Providers.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$91,100 - $126,900 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
