Position – Concepteur·trice Sonore

Nous recherchons un·e Concepteur·trice Sonore expérimenté·e pour se joindre à notre équipe. Le·a Concepteur ·trice Sonore est responsable de l'élaboration et de la mise en œuvre d'une conception sonore interactive de premier ordre qui soutient et enrichit la vision créative et audio du jeu. Vous influencerez la stratégie du projet en matière de conception sonore, encadrerez et guiderez l'équipe audio et collaborerez avec une équipe pluridisciplinaire pour améliorer l'expérience sonore du jeu.

Responsabilités et tâches

  • Collaborer avec le·a Directeur ·trice Audio pour définir et développer l'esthétique audio du jeu.
  • Collaborer avec le·a Directeur ·trice Audio pour élaborer et mettre en œuvre la direction musicale du jeu.
  • Identifier de manière proactive les défis audio et créer des solutions innovantes pour obtenir un son de la plus haute qualité.
  • Mettre en œuvre et mixer tous les types de ressources sonores dans Wwise et Unreal 5.
  • Se tenir au courant des techniques de conception sonore de pointe et promouvoir leur utilisation lorsqu'elle est bénéfique pour le jeu.
  • Identifier et collaborer avec plusieurs sous-traitants pour la conception sonore, la voix et la musique.
  • Identifier, en collaboration avec le·a Directeur ·trice Technique Audio et les Programmeur ·euse·s Audio, les outils et les technologies nécessaires à la réalisation de la direction audio.
  • Encadrer les membres de l’équipe de conception sonore moins expérimentés dans la réalisation d'éléments de haute qualité, tant sur le plan artistique que technique.
  • Promouvoir un son de qualité auprès de l'ensemble de l'équipe.

Expérience et compétences

  • Expérience en tant que Concepteur·trice Sonore sur un titre AAA.
  • Expertise en conception sonore, mixage et conception musicale.
  • Connaissance avancée des techniques d'enregistrement sur le terrain et de synthèse sonore.
  • Connaissance avancée des technologies et des outils de jeu audio.
  • Maîtrise des principaux logiciels audionumériques et expertise dans au moins un d'entre eux.
  • Maîtrise des techniques audio 3D telles que le mixage basé sur les objets, l'ambisonique et le HRTF.
  • Connaissance des jeux actuels pour évaluer l'audio.
  • Capacité à communiquer efficacement avec tous les membres de l'équipe de développement.
  • Excellente capacité à organiser et à hiérarchiser son propre travail.
  • Excellentes capacités d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes.

Qualifications recherchées

  • Connaissance et expérience d'Unreal 4 et/ou 5.
  • Expérience dans la construction et la maintenance de systèmes audio dans un environnement GAAS.
  • Compréhension approfondie des pipelines audio et des contraintes de performance.
  • Formation musicale.

Position – Audio Designer

We are looking for an experienced Audio Designer to join the Haven Entertainment Studios project team. The Audio Designer is responsible for elaborating and implementing best in class interactive sound design that supports and enriches the game creative and audio vision. They will influence the project strategy for sound design and provide mentorship and guidance to the audio team as well as collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team to elevate the game's sonic experience.

Reporting

The Audio Designer will report to the Senior Audio Producer.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the audio director to define and develop the audio aesthetic of the game.
  • Collaborate with the audio director to elaborate and implement the musical direction of the game.
  • Proactively identify audio challenges and create innovative solutions to achieve the highest quality sound.
  • Implement and mix all sound assets types in Wwise and Unreal 5.
  • Keep up to date with cutting-edge sound design techniques and promote its use when beneficial to the game.
  • Identify and collaborate with several outsourcers for sound design, voice and music.
  • Identify in collaboration with the technical audio director and audio programmers the tools and technologies needed to realize the audio direction.
  • Mentor Jr sound design staff in realizing high quality assets both artistically and technically.
  • Advocate quality audio to the whole team.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Experience as Audio Designer on a AAA title.
  • Expert in sound design, mixing and music design.
  • Advanced knowledge in field recording and sound synthesis techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of audio game technologies and tools.
  • Proficient with major DAWs and expert in at least one.
  • Proficient with 3d audio techniques such as object based mixing, ambisonics and HRTF.
  • Knowledge of current games to benchmark audio.
  • Ability to and communicate effectively with all members of the development team.
  • Excellent ability to organize and prioritize your own work
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in Unreal 4 and/or 5.
  • Experience in building and maintaining audio systems in a GAAS environment.
  • Deep understanding of audio pipelines and performance constraints.
  • Musical training.
