The International Strategy and Planning (S&P) Team develops enterprise & international strategy, facilitates planning, and supports M&A. As a Consultant, you'll enable TransUnion's growth, positioning it as a leading global information and risk solutions provider.
Must have:
  • Develop strategic insights based on market assessments grounded in primary and secondary research.
  • Translate these insights to inform buy/build/partner market-entry and market-expansion options.
  • Support analysis, modeling and select components for key initiatives.
  • Build content to support a variety of Strategy and Planning process components, including: Quarterly CEO reports Board of Director meetings, enterprise and international three-year planning activities.
  • Other high-visibility, high-stakes materials involving C-suite internal stakeholders.
  • Acquisitions and strategic investments.
  • Monitor and assess key trends and developments in TransUnion’s industry.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as region S&P teams to draw conclusions and recommendations.
  • Other efforts as determined by leadership in Strategy & Planning.
Good to have:
  • Strategy/corporate development experience strongly considered as well
  • Experience in information services, financial services, insurance or digital industries, preferred

What You'll Bring:

  • 3 - 5 years' experience with a strong record of accomplishment in top-tier consulting, investment banking or other transaction-advisory services firms.
  • Advanced fluency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strategy/corporate development experience strongly considered as well.
  • Experience in information services, financial services, insurance or digital industries, preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to assimilate and understand new concepts in short time frames.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions and levels of seniority.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Highly organized, excellent project management abilities.

Impact You'll Make:

The International Strategy and Planning (S&P) Team is a high-performing, cross-functional team responsible for developing TransUnion’s enterprise & international strategy, facilitating the planning cycle and supporting M&A activities. As a Consultant, Strategy and Planning, you will play an important role in enabling TransUnion to meet its short- and long-term growth plans while positioning the organization to be the leading, global information and risk solutions provider.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
