The Area

The Controllership team is responsible for Nubank's accounting and financial information, supporting the company's growth through a robust, reliable, and scalable process focused on data and analysis. We are responsible for gathering all of Nubank's financial data, monitoring it, and ensuring that everything is accounted for in our systems. We are also responsible for all regulatory and financial reports.

The Scope

• Preparation of financial statements;
• Execution of the monthly accounting closing routine;
• Service to internal and external Audit;
• Sending of CADOCs.
• Analysis and recording of accounting entries;
• Ensure that the accounting reconciliation is consistent with accounting and regulatory reports;
• Constantly identify improvements in internal processes.

What we are looking for

• Knowledge and proficiency in accounting processes in Financial Institutions (BACEN and IFRS);
• Experience with SAP;
• Analytical profile, data-oriented, and problem-solving skills;
• Clear, pragmatic, and adaptable communication to deal with multiple stakeholders;
• Advanced English - ability to participate in meetings, read and write documents, and make presentations to diverse teams.
• Experience in Financial Institutions or Auditing;
