We are currently looking for a Communication Office Coordinator to join our Corporate Communications team in Mississauga. This role supports Nissan and INFINITI Canada through internal communications, CSR initiatives, financial administration, and external media activities. Key responsibilities include compiling internal newsletters, supporting internal events and CSR activities, managing purchase requests and orders, updating newsrooms, coordinating press material distribution, and handling media inquiries.
Must have:
  • Post-secondary education in Administration, Business, Project Management, or 2–3 years of equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic bookkeeping/financial tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to communicate with diplomacy.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Flexibility to attend external events and occasional short business trips (2–3 times a year).
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of French (written and spoken).
  • Understanding of corporate culture and visual identity standards.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

We are currently looking for a Communication Office Coordinator to join our Corporate Communications team in Mississauga. This role supports Nissan and INFINITI Canada through internal communications, CSR initiatives, financial administration, and external media activities.

A Day in the Life:

  • Compile communications and submissions for weekly Internal Newsletters and fill out global communication calendars.
  • Attend and support the execution of internal events and CSR activities with Nissan Canada Foundation Partners.
  • Track and manage Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO), process payments, follow up with vendors, fill out accruals, and save historical data.
  • Manage newsroom updates in coordination with the newsroom agency. Coordinate the distribution of Nissan & INFINITI press materials. Canadian media database management and update.
  • Media events (twice a year), Toronto Auto Show Press Day, Sentra Cup races (one to twice a year), Nissan Canada Foundation Events 2-3 times a year like Earth Hour, CN Tower Climb etc.
  • Handle incoming inquiries in the absence of other dept members.
