Join Intel's development center in Haifa or Petah Tikva to develop the Intel High Performance Processor (P-Core). This role involves focusing on process and construction technology to build best-in-class products, utilizing state-of-the-art VLSI design tools and methods. You will perform deep analysis to optimize product power, area, and frequency, working on cutting-edge process technologies and physical design flows.
Must have:
  • Focus on process and construction technology to build best in-class products across P-core CPUs.
  • Make use of state of the art VLSI design tools and methods.
  • Perform deep analysis to predict and optimize product power, area and Freq.
  • Work on cutting edge Process technologies and analysis from device to APR level.
  • Conduct all aspects of the physical design flow including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution, reliability and power analysis.
  • Deep analyze results and make recommendations for current and future process needs.
  • Possess expertise in various aspects of structural and physical design, including physical clock design, timing closure, coverage analysis, placing, routing, synthesis.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of physical design methodologies.
  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in BE Design using industry EDA tools.
Good to have:
  • Experience in TCL.
  • Experience in Python, Perl, R, XLS, JMP.

About the Team:

In this job, you will join Intel's development center in Haifa or Petah Tikva, which is part of Intel's worldwide development group, in charge of planning and designing a wide range of VLSI products. The group you will join is in a charge of developing the Intel High Performance Processor (P-Core), a disruptive technology that enables a broad range of devices from entry PCs to high end servers. You will be part of a team, participating in the design of a future generation of high-performance Intel microprocessor.

In this role you will:

Focus on process and construction technology to build best in-class products across P-core CPUs. The group makes use of state of the art VLSI design tools and methods, while performing deep analysis to predict and optimize the product power, area and Freq. Work on cutting edge Process technologies and analysis from device to APR level, frequency-power optimization, STA and PVT's, Clock distribution and quality, Power Grid planning and IR/RV analysis. Conduct all aspects of the physical design flow including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution, reliability and power analysis. Deep analyze results and make recommendations for current and future process needs. Possess expertise in various aspects of structural and physical design, including physical clock design, timing closure, coverage analysis, placing, routing, synthesis. Participate in the development and improvement of physical design methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in BE Design using industry EDA tools.
  • Experience in TCL - advantage.
