Overview
In Medellin - Colombia, we are looking for a person for the position of Creative Director with a Copy focus. With more than 9 years of experience in the role with advertising and marketing agencies, their mission will focus on leading the creative and strategic development of our advertising campaigns, ensuring excellence in communication and the fulfillment of business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the development of creative concepts, with a special focus on copywriting, ensuring they are aligned with the company's and assigned brands' strategy.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure creative ideas align with the client's vision.
- Promote team participation in industry awards and festivals.
- Manage Briefs for their follow-up and execution.
- Effectively present creative and Copy proposals to clients and internal teams, ensuring clarity and persuasion in communication.
- Lead and motivate the creative team, including Copywriters, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Manage and monitor creative projects, ensuring their compliance according to the requirements of the assigned accounts.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, as well as new technologies and platforms, to integrate fresh and innovative approaches into creative work.
- Ensure compliance with the company's processes, policies, and procedures, both locally and regionally.
Qualifications
- Customer service, analysis, organization, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, ability to inspire and motivate creative teams.
- Experience in creating award-winning and internationally recognized campaigns, preferably with awards at festivals like Cannes Lions.
- Proven experience in managing large advertisers, in advertising agencies.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Jira.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative and disruptive thinking.
