We are seeking a driven project manager with strong global logistics knowledge and experience in ecommerce transportation and delivery to drive global programmes across transportation and fulfillment networks. The role will lead all aspects of delivery, track performance, coordinate teams, maintain rate card for scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: strong planning, communication, risk management, partner management and problem-solving skills.
- KPI management: drive programme KPIs (cost per shipment, rate accuracy, on time delivery rate, carrier SLA compliance), setting goals, weekly performance tracking and effective communication to align metrics with programme objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Carrier Ratecard Management: Build, source, validate and update rate cards for international carriers.
- Loss Reductions: minimise loss-related expenses such as Item Not Received (INR) claims and arrived-damaged issues. Use data-driven root cause analysis to recommend and implement systemic fixes.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Legal, Customer Service, Seller Management, Regional Ops teams, Finance and External Partners to develop and implement strategies aligned with eBay’s cross-border trade (CBT) goals.
- Partner Management: support with day-to-day contact with logistics and carrier partners. Negotiate, monitor and drive partners.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: +5 years in global logistics, e-commerce shipping programmes, supply chain management, or programme management in a cross-border trade environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of international logistics, customs procedures and regulatory frameworks (e.g., VAT/IOSS, HS Codes, export documentation).
Skills:
- Strong data literacy: can interpret and act on analytics and operational metrics.
- Programme/project management experience with global or matrixed teams.
- Excellent partner/vendor management and negotiation capabilities.
- Strong communication and partner engagement skills.
- Tools: Familiarity with logistics platforms, Tableau, Jira, Salesforce, SQL a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- MBA or relevant advanced degree.
- Experience managing shipping or logistics programmes.
- Familiarity with marketplace dynamics, international shipping regulations, and global e-commerce ecosystems.
- Experience launching new carrier solutions or transportation pilots across markets.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly matrixed environments.
