The engineer should consider the 'bigger picture' and demonstrate an understanding of commercial and negotiating principles while developing long-term partnerships with clients. Furthermore, the engineer demonstrates leadership balancing business, technical, and people objectives, and also plays a significant part in the recruitment and development of people.
