As a Custodian at Lightcast, you will be a vital part of the facility management team, ensuring a clean and safe office environment. This role is for experienced custodians with 1-2 years of experience, dedicated to maintaining a pleasant workspace. Responsibilities include routine office cleaning, trash and recycling disposal, furniture cleaning, snow removal, landscaping, mopping, monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and adhering to safety protocols. You should have knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently. A strong work ethic, reliability, and good communication skills are essential, along with the capability to lift over 50 lbs daily.

Job Details
As a Custodian in the office at Lightcast, you will be a valuable member of our facility management team, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe office environment. This role is ideal for experienced custodians with at least 1-2 years of experience who are dedicated to ensuring a pleasant and well-kept workspace for our employees.
Major Responsibilities:
- Office Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, offices, and restrooms.
- Trash Disposal: Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with established procedures.
- General cleaning experience
- Furniture cleaning, snow removal, landscaping, mopping
- Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring that they are well-stocked.
- Maintenance Support: Report and assist in the resolution of minor facility maintenance issues.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a secure and hazard-free office environment.
Education and Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience as a Custodian, preferably in an office environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication
- Capability to lift +50 lbs daily
