Job Description
This Technical Program Manager role at Google focuses on the Global Submarine Networks (GSN). Responsibilities include reviewing, designing, implementing, and managing the GSN's Layer 2-3 IP Secure Data Communications Network (DCN) and Operational Support Systems (OSS). The role involves working with stakeholders in the Network Operations Center (NOC) to develop operating processes, monitoring and troubleshooting network performance, and collaborating with technology suppliers and security teams. The successful candidate will also lead network security planning and operations for the GSN's internal communications network. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 8 years of program/project management experience are required. Preferred qualifications include extensive experience in network operations, OSS, network design, network security, and CI/CD environments.

- Enterprise Networking (L3 Routing, Switching, SD WAN, Security)

- 7+ years experience with multilayered OSS
- Experience in CI/CD environments
- Experience negotiating agreements

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program or project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in network operations and data communications.
- 7 years of experience with network multilayered OSS, network design, and network security.
- Experience with Enterprise Networking (e.g., L3 Routing, Switching (CISCO) SD WAN and Security).
- Experience in project management in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments.
- Experience in negotiating agreements.

(GSN) Layer 2-3 IP Secure Data Communications Network (DCN) and Operational Support Systems (OSS) and other Cloud based applications and systems. - Work with stakeholders supporting GSN's Network Operations center (NOC) to develop systems operating processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and OSS systems performance.
- Work with technology suppliers, security, risk and compliance teams to ensure Google maintains the highest levels of reliability in respect of Operating Systems and Network.
- Lead network Security Planning and Operations for GSN Internal Communications Network.
