Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The role involves working with cloud-based data architectures and implementations, utilizing Oracle SQL and data management concepts. Responsibilities include data warehousing and ETL processing using technologies like Oracle ETL, Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue. Experience with workload automation tools such as Apache Airflow or Control-M is required. The engineer will also focus on performance tuning and optimization of database queries, manage day-to-day operational requests, and be proficient in project management lifecycle phases and agile methodologies. Experience with data analytics tools like OAC, PowerBI, or Cognos is desired, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. The ability to foster strong relationships is also important.
Must have:
  • Strong experience in Cloud data architecture
  • Strong Oracle SQL experience
  • Experience with data warehousing/ETL (Oracle ETL, Snowflake, AWS S3, Glue)
  • Experience with workload automation (Airflow, Control-M)
  • Performance tuning and query optimization
  • Proficient in project management lifecycle and Agile
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in data analytics tools (OAC, PowerBI, Cognos)
  • Ability to foster strong relationships

  • Strong experience using Oracle SQL and data management concepts.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processing using Oracle ETL,  SQL, Snowflake, AWS S3, AWF Glue, or similar Cloud technologies
  • Experience in workload automation tools (Apache Airflow, Control-M)
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database queries.
  • Experience working on medium scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
  • Must be proficient in phases of project management lifecycle and agile methodology.
  • Experience in data analytics tools (OAC, PowerBI, Cognos etc.)
  • Ability to foster strong relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skilll

Comp/Rate - USD $75/hr
