You will work with skilled and experienced data engineers, building scalable data processing tools and contributing to a best-in-class cloud-based Data Platform. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing data models, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various teams.

Must Have

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines
  • Manage databases
  • Ensure data integration and security
  • Develop data pipelines
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently
  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing
  • Develop and optimize data models for analytics and machine learning use cases
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements
  • Partner with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency
  • Demonstrated experience as a data engineer processing data volumes
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Good Python knowledge
  • Good understanding of ETL pipelines – ingestion, normalization
  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructures
  • Worked in an Agile environment

Data is core to what we do in for SimCorp – both for internal activities or to support our service for our clients. SimCorp, a global FinTech company, is offering key positions for Data Engineers in the Data and Reporting Department.

You will work with skilled and experienced data engineers and become part of an innovative and changing environment. You will be motivated by taking responsibility of building data processing tools. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, manage databases, ensure data integration and security, and develop data pipelines. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently

Data Architecture & Development

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
  • Develop and optimize data models for analytics and machine learning use cases.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements.
  • Partner with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance data engineering capabilities.
  • Drive automation and efficiency improvements in data workflows.

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated experience as a data engineer processing data volumes
  • Excellent SQL skills, Snowflake preferred
  • Good Python knowledge
  • Good understanding of ETL pipelines – ingestion, normalization
  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructures, preferably Azure
  • Worked in an Agile environment
