Job Description

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a leading social discovery company with over 60 brands and 500 million users, focused on combating loneliness. They utilize AI, game mechanics, and video streaming in platforms like Dating.com and DateMyAge. SDG invests in global IT startups, including Open AI and Coursera. The company operates with an international team of 1200 professionals and digital nomads across various locations. They are seeking a Middle Data Engineer to join their core Research team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SQL data warehouses, creating and optimizing stored procedures, building and enhancing reports with SSRS, and developing dynamic dashboards with Superset. The engineer will also be responsible for developing and managing efficient data pipelines using Airflow for data integration and automation.

Must Have:

2+ years of experience as Data Engineer
Proficient in MS SQL (window functions, subqueries, joins)
Confident knowledge of Python
Basic query optimization skills
Experience with Airflow
Experience with SSRS, Superset, or other BI solutions

We are looking for a Middle Data Engineer to join one of our core Research team.

Your main tasks will be:

Design, develop, and maintain SQL data warehouses, including the creation and optimization of stored procedures.
Build and enhance reports using SSRS and create dynamic dashboards with Superset to deliver actionable insights.
Develop and manage efficient data pipelines using Airflow to ensure smooth data integration and automation.

We expect from you:

2+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
Knowledge of MS SQL at the confident level (window functions, subqueries, various joins)
Confident knowledge of Python
Basic query optimization skills;
Experience with Airflow
Experience with SSRS, Superset (or other BI solutions)
Fluent Russian
