This internship focuses on Demand & Supply Planning within Printing Operations. The intern will apply subject matter knowledge to solve business issues, support regular planning activities, analyze supply chain performance, balance demand and supply, and assist in developing planning dashboards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in continuous improvement initiatives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Must Have:
  • Enrolled in a college degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Support regular planning activities including demand forecasting and supply planning coordination.
  • Analyze supply chain performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support balancing demand and supply to ensure product availability.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of planning dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Logistics, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency.
  • Support capacity planning and inventory management processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Demand & Supply Planning Intern

Description -

Applies intern subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues related to Supply Chain Planning. Works on problems of moderate complexity. Acts as a team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises guided judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations. The student will be trained and developed to perform tasks related to the Demand & Supply Planning area for Printing Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports regular planning activities in the following areas:
  • Demand forecasting and supply planning coordination.
  • Analysis of supply chain performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Support in balancing demand and supply to ensure product availability.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of planning dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Logistics, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency.
  • Support capacity planning and inventory management processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Education & Experience Recommended:

  • Enrolled in a college degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or related fields.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. English proficiency is desirable;
  • Eager to learn, with high curiosity and excellent teamwork skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and positive attitude;
  • Analytical thinking and data manipulation skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain concepts, demand planning, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
