Job Description

The Deputy Manager - Sales & Marketing will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships in the automotive industry, understanding client needs, and developing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, forecasting sales, negotiating contracts, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal teams to align sales strategies. The manager will also prepare reports and analyze sales data to drive growth.
Must have:

  • Serve as primary contact for client inquiries and escalations.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Ensure contract compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams.
  • Provide input to product development based on client feedback.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities and account performance.
  • Analyze sales data to identify SWOT and recommend actions.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 9-12 years of experience.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts in the automotive industry.
  • Understand client needs and objectives, and propose tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with internal teams to propose solutions.
  • Forecast sales volumes, monitor performance against targets, and report on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to ensure favorable outcomes for both parties.
  • Ensure contracts are executed accurately and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive activities, and opportunities for growth.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and technological advancements that may impact client accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Provide input to product development teams based on client feedback and market insights.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and account performance for management review.
  • Analyze sales data to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and recommend corrective actions as needed.

Educational qualification - Bachelor's Degree

Experience - 9 - 12 years
