Marvell is seeking a Design Verification Intern to join their team building silicon for 5G infrastructure and high-speed data centers. The intern will dive into processor architecture, build virtual test environments, write automated tests to find flaws, and collaborate with experts. This role offers a chance to learn the complete ASIC verification lifecycle, advanced methodologies, and hardware-level debugging.
Must have:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in digital logic and computer architecture
  • Solid programming skills (coursework in C++, Java, or Python is excellent)
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with a verification methodology like UVM

What You Can Expect

  • Become a Chip Expert: Dive deep into the architecture of our cutting-edge processors and learn exactly how they function.
  • Build Virtual Test Worlds: Use industry-standard tools to create powerful simulation environments that mimic real-world conditions.
  • Hunt for Bugs: Write smart, automated tests that push our designs to their limits, creatively trying to "break" the chip to find hidden flaws.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work side-by-side with chip architects and designers to solve complex problems and contribute to a team building real products.

What You'll Learn:

  • The complete, real-world ASIC verification lifecycle, from planning to execution.
  • How to use advanced verification methodologies and tools on multi-core processors.
  • The art of creative problem-solving and debugging at the hardware level.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in digital logic and computer architecture.
  • Solid programming skills (coursework in C++, Java, or Python is excellent).
  • An inquisitive mindset and a passion for solving complex puzzles.
  • Bonus Points: Familiarity with a verification methodology like UVM is a plus!

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

27 - 53, $ per hour.

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
