Epsilon is seeking a Front-End Developer with UI/UX skills for its Automotive Practice. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining UI/UX-based applications and components for the automotive marketing platform. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams on software development, assisting in defining and documenting software objectives and requirements, and creating unit tests. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience, a strong understanding of software creation processes and development methodologies, and the ability to design scalable and reliable solutions. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed team and manage tasks under tight deadlines.
Must have:
  • 2-4 years of Front-End Developer experience with UI/UX skills
  • Development and maintenance of applications with HTML, CSS
  • Familiarity with mobile UI/UX patterns
  • Experience with Angular, NodeJS, ASP.NET, C#
  • Ability to design scalable and reliable solutions
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Good to have:
  • Experience in automotive marketing
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems quickly
  • Motivated to learn new applications and domains

Summary:

 

This position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining UI/UX based applications and components for the automotive marketing platform.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and maintenance of applications with technologies such as HTML, CSS and Familiarity with mobile UI/UX patterns. Angular, NodeJSASP.NET, C#.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts and business users in conceptualizing, estimating and developing new software applications and enhancements.
  • Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s objectives, business requirements, work, and specifications in collaboration with internal users and departments.
  • Prepare and dispense work assignments, provide guidance, and/or review the work of other team members.
  • Collaborate with QA team to define test cases, metrics, and resolve questions about test results.
  • Bring deep technical specialization and knowledge to the team.
  • Develop components based on business and/or application requirements
  • Create unit tests in accordance with team policies & procedures
  • Assist in the creation of functional tests in cooperation with the QA team
  • Update/create Knowledge Base Articles and case studies as necessary. Assist in the creation and improvement of Knowledge Management

Qualifications

  • Front End Developer with UI/UX skills of 2 -4 years’ experience required
  • B.E/B. Tech in Computer Science or related field/MCA/MTech (No correspondence courses) 
  • Familiar with Software Creation Process, various development methodologies, and able to independently participate in each phase.
  • Ability to design and implement solutions that are reliable, scalable, and perform at a high-level to meet the service levels associated with critically important solutions.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to anticipate and avoid problems.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment that includes geographically distributed team members.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and complete tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to design and build flexible and extensible systems with focus on code reuse and generation.
  • Experience with writing detailed technical specifications for developers; design, validate and implement software test plans.
